Wheat, 4s 3d to 4s <>d ; fowls' wheat, 3s 3d to 3s 7d ; oats, Is 6d to Is 8d ; barley, Sato os 6d ; four, £11 to £11 10s; onions, 7<J ; new cheese, 4d to 6d ; rolled bacon, 10d ; bams, Is; potatoes, £3 10s to £4. Timaru. 37th February. Very few transactions havo as yet taken place in the new grain deliveries, which are very light. Merchants' prices are 3s 3d to 3s 6d for wheat, ls 3d for oats, and 2s 3d to Ss 3d for barley ; but farmers are disinclined to report these at present. The weather is still very changeable. Chbistchuroh, February 27. The grain market during the week has been moderately active. Wheat has eased a shade ; buyers are not offering over 3s 9d for good milling lots. There is very little doing in oats, farmers not caring to bring forward parcels at the rates ruling unless compelled ; present quotations.ls 4d to 1 s od for feed, and ls 6d to ls 7d for milling. A considerable number of samples of barley are brought forward ; buyers are offering 3s 3d to 3s 6d for average quality; first-class Commands an advance on tbis quotation, say of Id to 2d. Flour is quoted at £10 10s to £11 109. (per cable.) Sydney. Friday.
