She made an atti mpt to leave again on Wednesday, but owing to the heavygale blowing on that day, had to return to port She, however, got out at noon on Thursday. The s.s.Hniaj Captain Wills, left Wellington at 6.15 p.m. on Wednesday, and anchored at Kapiti at 1.30 next morning; left again at 9 n.tn., and amved at the wharf v at a .quarter to 1 p.m. Experienced strong head, winds on the passage The Huia leaves for Southern ports to-day. The schooner Hannah Barratt h is cleai'ed at the Customs for Lyttelton, with 35,000 feet of timber fiom the Kairivkau, sawmill, and will sail on the first opportunity. The Zior has almost finished loading with timber from Messrs. Bartholomew's mill, for Lyttelton. Sh owiii also tako a number of pigs on deck. The Jane Pouglas may be expected to arrive to-day from Wellington.
