at Foxton, whereas, if he recewed the privilege asked, he woulc -instruct Jthe whole 120 fat Foxton « Tie following resolution was proposed by Mr Loudon :— " That Mr Campbell's request re public road be grunted, subject to the oversight of the Chair mau." Seconded by Mr Coley, and carried. The question of the valuation then came up for dismission. The Chairman pointed out that the valuation is required to be finished before January 15. He suggested that tenders be adveitised for. — Upon the motion of Mr Coley, it was resolved to call for tenders for the work. Mr Easton mentioned the necessity of the large stones being removed from the newly-formed footpaths in Main-street. The following accounts were passed :— J. Sivell, labor, 14s ;H. Blake, labor, £4 13s; W. Reeve, caiting, 30s; P. Collins, labor, 28s; W. Wells, repairing Avenue Bridge, £2 8s ; W. Wells, making culvert, £11 15s ; W. Alzdprf, surveying land on No. 1 Line, £1 15s. Total, £24 3s. The Chairman reported that an overdraft of £10 existed, and that after the payments it would amount to £34 3s. The Board then adjourned.
