The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agenoy Company bave received the following telegram, bearing date London, Sept. 27 : — The wool sales closed at an average decline of ld to l£d per lb on the 26th inst. The sales comprised about .90,000 bales ; 40,000 were held over for future disposal. 1 80,000 bales were taken for export. Combing has declined a 1 d per lb since the close of last sales ; superior clothing, washed, declined l£d to 2d per Ib ; scoured, declined 1 d per lb. Since the close of last sales medium and inferior greasy have declined £d to ldperlb; also crossbred lidMarket unchanged in superior greasy ; lambs and clothius., washed, has declined ld per lb since the close of the last sales.
