W heat— few parcels in market, and mostly taken up by local millers. First clas3 milling samples are eagerly bought at 4s 8d to 4s lOd ; medium, 4s 2d to 4a 6il ; chick wheat, 3s 6d to 3s lOd ; oats, demand steadier, and holders dispostd to accept lower rates. Price here cannot be quoted at over 2s 4d to 2s 6d for feed, 2s 7d to 2e 8d for best milling ; prime seed, 2s 8d to 2e lOd. Barley, prime mailing samples, 6s to 63 6d, medium to good, 4s 6d to 5s 6d; feeding sorts, 2s 8d to 3?. Potatoes— Demand has increased. Blue Derwonts, in good shipping 1 ordei*, saleable at £3 los ; sood seed samples have fetched as high as £4, Kidney kinds are in strong demand at £9 to £10. Grass seed sales were limited. Buyers complain of the indifferent condition. Town dressed samples are freely offered, at 5s to os 6-i. Farmers' paroels vary from 3a 9d to 4s lOd. Cheese, 6d to 6id.' Butter, 9d to lOd. Supply is equal to demand. DrxEDiN, Friday. Messrs Lee 3 & Co. report that a large business has been done in wheat at advanced rates. Prime northern, ss ; southern, 4s 6d to 4s 8d ; medium, 4s 2d to 4i 4:1. Oats, 2s to 2s Id ; feed and milling, 2s 2d to 2s sd. Potatoes — supply dull ; Oan.aru, £5 4s to £4 7s 6d ; other sorts, £4 15s to £0 : seed — demand slack; Derwent, £0 10s; early kidney, M 8; Irish cups, £7. Butter, in goo.l demand at Is to Is 1d ; cheese not much doing ; bacon, 7d \o 9d.
