Dtjxedin, Monday, 7 p.m In connection with the fire at Dean's stables, at Two Rivers Hotel, Waikeno, it has been reported to the police that a servant girl, on leaving the hotel the same night was seized by a man in disguise, gagged, and bound, when her clothes were set on fire. The man returned and extinguished the fire, and ran away. Her impression is that he mistook her for someone else.
