PAILED. *-" Nil. ■ Business in the shipping Una has been dull at Foxton this week, no vessels having entered or cleared. The Stownbird was expected early in the week, but her departure from Wellington was postponed until yesterday, owiu<* to bad weather. She should arrive early this morning. The schooner Mary Ogilvie, from Greymouth, laden with coals, is reported to be $ lying off the bar, waiting for nn opportunity to come in. . The steamer Huia may be expected to arrive tomorrow or Sunday from Wellington. The ship Rakaia arrived at Wellington from London on Monday last with 290 immigrants. Mr Gibb, late chief officer of the Stormbird, has been appointed to the command of Tuinbull &Co's three-masted schooner May, whioh vessel is engaged in the China trade. '
