The ss Huia, Captain Wills, left Wellington at 7. 20 p.m. on Thursday last ; anchored at Kapiti at 1.20 a.m. on Friday ; weighed anchor at 8, and proceeded under easy steam,; arrived off Manawatu bar at 11 a.m., crossed at noon, and madefast to the wharf at 12.35 ; light head winds were experienced on the passage. Tho Huia sailed on the return trip at 1.30 p.m. on Saturday. The ps Sampson is doing good work at the Hydrabad cargo. She has made several trips to the Matilda off Kapiti, and is constantly running between Hartley's aud the ship. The steamer Slormbird is expected to arrive this morning from Wellington.
