THE COMING LAND SALE.

_ — ~+ Messrs Thyime, Lintoa & Co. announce a sale of sections in the township of Foxton, to. take; plaoe on Wednesday, Aujyust 2 •), at 2 o'clock p.ra , at their sale rooms, Mainstreet. Notwithstanding the depression which has taken place in other parts of the Colony, we can safely assert it has baen felt to a very small extent in Foxton. Not a single bankruptcy has taken place as the result of it. One which did occur was entirely owing to other reasons, as the same business is now: being carried on with profit by another person. We are therefore justified in stating that the position and prospects of Foxton are sound and hopeful. A. slow but steady influx of population is taking'place, and we have no. doubt that eaoh yeir will raise the position of the town, and as a consequence thd value of property. We therefore trust that the sale to take place to-morrow week will show that the residents have every confidence in the future of the place. As many persons are unable to get maps of the town, we purpo33 briefly stating the positions of the various sections to be submitted. Sootion 102 is a fine business site on the Main -street, between Normanby House and Membery's corner, with a frontage of oL) feet. The tendency of tho town has been for some time past in that direction, and as laud .all around is valued ut $10 per foot, we expect to see a arood. figure reached.
