Per Jane Douglas — 9,579 feet timber, for Lyttelton, and 1800 palings for Kaikonra, Liddell. ; On Friday morning last, the people of Foxton found an old trader nt the wharf, ihe s.a. Napier having arrived from Blenheim, with a cargo of produce, mostly oats, of whioh the brought 200 sacks. Captain Fisk reports having left Blenheim at 4.30 p.m on Thursday, and crossed tho Manawatu bar at 8 a.m. next morning, reaching Foxton wharf 40 minutes after. Tho Napier started for Wellington at 8 p.m. on Friday night, the assistant pilot, Mr Sciascia, taking charge of her whilst in the river. Thj steamers Huia and Jane Douglas left Foxton on Friday morning last for Wel» lington. The steamer Huia left Wellington at 7 o'clock on Saturday evening, and made fast to the wharf at 10.45 on Sunday morning. The Huia brought a heavy cargo of rails, boiler and machinery, and general cargo. Tho Huia leaves today for southern port 9.
