year. The Customs decreaso was £103,825 ; the railways increase, £19,000. The expenditure ostimated for the past year was £4,840,000. A suux of £300,000 will be provided for by new duties, probably Customs, excise, and stamps. Adelaide, July 4. The revenue for the quarter ending 30th June amounts to £400,000, being an increase compared with the corresponding quarter last year, but £50,000 below the Treasurer's estimates. Brisbane, July 4. The revenue for the year ended 30th June shows a deficit amounting to £178,912.
