FOXTON LOCAL BOARD RATE
Our attention lias been called to the fact that so far the Foxton Local Hoard have not struck a rate tor the current year. The only step taken was to give notice of their intention to strike a rate ; but by a singular oversight, the actual resolution striking a rate was never passed. As this may lead to considerable com* plica? ion, and have the effect of landing affairs in a complete mess unless fcpeedily rectified, we would suggest a special meeting of the Hoard at once to consider the question.
