» London, June 20. In tho House of Commons last night, Mr Mills, in compliance with a request hy the Secretary of State for the Colonies, postponed his motion on the Victorian constitutional question until a motion of which Sir M. Hicks-Beach, acting in cooperation with Mr Mills, has given notice, shall have been disposed of. This latter motion condemns any Imperial inters vention, unless the samp is directly asked for by both branches of the legislature.
