The Houso of Lords threw out, on the second reading, tho bill for legalising marriage with a deceased wife's
sister.
The Prince of Wales supported the bill, and presented a petition in its favor.
The return ball to the Mayor last night, was crowded. The LieufcenantGovernor was present.
