Liddell, agent. The s.s. Stormbird left Wellington at 3 p.m. on Friday last, and arrived at Foxton at half-past 7 next morning. She sailed for Wellington at 7 a.m. next day. The agent of the Stormbird yesterday received a telegram from Wellington stat* iug that she was detainod by stress of wauther, and would not leave until 4 p.m. to-day. The schooner Elibank Castle -will complete her loading of timber to-morrow, and sails for Lyttelton the first opportunity,
