"THAT DOCTOR" AGAIN.
Tune—" If I had a donkey," &c, &o. If you had a Doctor that wouldn't go To the "patients that wanted him, oh, oh, oh, What would you do to him, I want to know ? Wouldn't you trollop him, so, so, so. If I had a Doctor that let a friend go » To that long bourne that none of us know, From carelessness, pique, temper, or so. Wouldn't Iwollop him ? oh, no, no, no. And I found that that Doctor had friends That to thorn only he cavea to attend, And they, careless of others, only themselves seem to mind, I should say that they were worse than unkind. If they at a meeting could be found to attend, I And to the just statements a deaf ear to lend, And refuse the neglected assistance to end The position they are placed in by this their friend — T*o them I would say, their selfishness might Some day or other place them in worse plight Than those who do now suffer the sight Of their fond ones dying unattended, outright. I would, therefore, to them make this appealBelieve the statements unchallenged —be real—* Assist the Committee with genuine zeal, And much increased comfort you'll certainly feel. Taij'o.
