The ss Jane Doaglas left Wellington at 6 p.m. on the 27th, and arrived off the bar at 5 a.m. on the 28th: crossed at 10.45, and arrived at tho wharf ab 11 o'clock. Encountered a strong N.W. gale on the passage up. The Douglas Hailed again for Wellington at 11 a.m. on Saturday. The s.s. Tui left Wellington at 7.30 p.m. on Friday, and arrived off the bar at 5 a.m. on the 29th: crossed at 11 a.m., and arrived at Foxton wharf at 11.45. Experienced stiff S.W. breeze, with heavy sea. The Tui sailed for Wellington at II o'clock on Sunday morning. The steamer Go-ahead, having loaded her cargo of timber, left for Timaru on Saturday morning. The schooner Laurel has loaded about 90 tojs of railway material from the ship Hydrabad, and will sail for Wellington on tbe first opportunity. The Jane Douglas is expected to arrive today from Wellington.
