The Jane Douglas will arrive this morning from Wellington. The ss Tui arrived in pert on Tuesday morning last from Wellington. She sailed again for the same port at 10 o'clock that night. Tho ss Goahead, Captain Dicke", arrived in port on Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock, from Wellington. She reports having come off the Wellington Patent Slip at 1.30 r .in. on Tuesday, having had the propoller refitted, and some new plates lixed; started for Foxton at 6.30 p.m under easy steam; passed the Jane Douglas off Terawiti, and tho Tui near Kapiti; anchored off the bar at 8 a.m. on Wednesday; crossed at 9, and reached tho wharf as above. The Goahead is loading up with white pine timber for Timaru. The cargo of timber per Saxon is conoigned to Montgomery and Co., of Lyttelton, It comprised 38,000 feet. The Osprey has been repainted, the ponson3 and other portions of the ship being now a dark blue colour.
