And notice, is hereby further given that in the event of more Candidates for the office of Commissioner being proposed than are to be elected, and a poll being demanded, the same will be held on the next day, Friday, 14th March, 1879, at the Court Bouse, Foxton, between the houts of nine o'clock in the forenoon, and four o'clock in the afternoon of the came day. IT is, hereby publicly notified that a special meeting of the Otaki Highways Board will be held on 24th March, at 8 p.m , for the purpose of making a rate of— pence in the £, for the twelve months commencing Ist April. 1879, to 31st March, 1880, inclusive, said rate to become payable on Ist May, 1879.
