Th.re was a fair .ttondanoe of buyers, but tho bidding was anything but spirited owing probably to to the scab soare. The first lot of 12 6-tooth rams fetched £1 ls 6d and were purchased by Mr Ruther ford, who also bought tho next lot of 2 J 2-tooth rams afc £1 2s Od each.

The first 2-tooth ram of Mr Akers fetched £3 10s and tho bidding slackened. We understand, however, the whole were sold immediately after the sale, viz 9 ram lambs £1 each to Mr Robinson and also 11 2-tooth rams to same purchaser. 2 2-tooth rams to Mr Thydne.
