Liddell, agent. February 19 — Go-ahead, ss, 83 tons, Dicker, from Wellington. PassengersMiss Tinney, Mr Pepper. Liddell, agent. BAILED. February 19— Jane Douglas, ss, 76 tons, Fraaer, lor Wellington. Passengers — Meadames Thornbill, Armstrong. Bannister and child, Mr and Mrs Edwards and childraa, Musrs Bannister and Mudford. liddell, agent. The s.s. Jane Douglas, Captain Fraser, left Wellington at 6.30 p.m. on Monday, and proceeded under easy steam, crossing the Manawatu bar at 5.30 next morning, and reaching Foxton about 6 ; experienced fine easterly weather throughout, .'he left on the return trip at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, and called at Hartley's for a large quantity of wool from Horowhenua. The Douglas crossed tho bar outwards about 9 o'clock. The ss. Go-aheud, Captain Dicker, left Wellington at 5.30 on Tuesday, and crossed tho bar at 6.10 next morning, reaching the wharf at 7.30 ; experienced light southerly weather to Knpiti ; thence to the rivev light norther! y. The Go-Ahead has loaded up with 86,< 00 feet of timber for Timaru and will leave to-day. She proceeds thither direct, and will return to Foxton for another cargo of timber via Lyttelton and Wellington. We understand it is probable, should SKfficionfc inducement ofler, that the Goanead may bo rogularly employed in the timber trade with the South Island. Mr J. W. Liddell has been appointed agent at Eoxton.

The Jane Douglas should arrive this morning fro.ii Wellington. The schooner Pelican has now on board 35,110 fest of timber. The remainder of her cargo was expected to arrive by last night's train, and the ve-sel will probably be ready for sea on Saturday.
