Christchukch, Friday. The weather is splendid for harvesting, and the bulk of the crop is secured against damage by rain. Money being scarce, there arc no speculative transactions to record in the grain market ; millers are acting with extreme caution in their operations New wheat is selling at 3s to 3s 3d ; flour £8 10s new ; old flour, £9 ; oats, 2s 6d to U9d ; barley, 4s 6d to fis ; cheese, 8d ; butter, 1 id, ll|d, Is ; hams and bacon, B£d. Dunedin, Friday. Business during the week has been moderate. The activity not ced last month has quieted down, and transactions are generally limited to trade requirements. Several auctions have taken places, but the prices realised are mostly no oiiterion as to quotations. Sydney, Friday. Hennessy's brandy in case, 3.45 ; quarters 9s 3d ; Patna rice, £20 ; kerosene, Is 8d to Is9d; New Zealand wheat, 4s 9d to os ; New Zealand oatf, 8s to 8a 3d; Baven's twist tobacco, Is Id to la Bd. Adelaide, Friday. Flour, £12 10s to £13; wheat, 6s to 5s 2d.
