AKKIVEn. February 6— Jane Douglas, ss, 75 tons, Fraser, fiom Wellington. Passengers: « abin— Mesdames Brown, En«>r,s and children, Messrs Bhorfc. Carroll, Holmwood, Clarke, Pleyal, Werk (2), Banks, Bennet, and Miller. SAILED. Nil The §.8. Jane Douglas, Captain Eraser, left Wellington on Wednesday afternoon at 5 p.m with a fall oargo, and reached Kapiti at midnight; left again at 4 a.m. and crossed the bar at B.3o,teaohing Foxton about 9.16. She returns to Wellington this morning. MrJ. E. Beid having entered the Union Company's service, Mr Donald has been appointed purser in his stead. We regrat to notice Mr Manning, mate of the steamer, was hurt on the passage up by the jib napping in the wind and striking him. his f ace being much swelled and disfigured. The passage up was very rough, owing to heavy head wind and sea.
