Sir— Seeing by your paper that meetings are to be held at Siinson and Foxton next week for the purpose of discussing the railway question, allow mo to offer one suggestion which bus occurred to me, viz, if the Government should decide to fix the route in the Upper District, let the resident iu the 'Lower" District continue the Saudou and Fo»on line from Greatford, or wherever it may be deemed beat, and join the maiu Hue south of here at the nearest point ; and without my t aking up any more of your space, the benefits of &uch will.be apparent.
