[jßOil OUR OWN OORRESTONDENT.] Wellington, Monday, Mr James Gilligan died at the Occidental Hotel this morning. The causo of death was dropsy.. The Supreme Court was opened this moraing. The Jane Douglas leaves at three o'clock with immigrants ex Fernglen, which arrived from London yesterday. Later. The immigrants originally intended for Westland decline to proceed to Manawatu, as they have frieuds on the West Coast. The Immigration Officer awaits information from Westland before deciding.
