Owing to the heavy weather, she has been detained in port, but will probably leave to-day. Tho tender steamer Glenelg, Cptain MaiuVr, returned on Tuesday to the Kiver from Wellington, having in tow the Forest Queen. Both vessels havo loaded up with cargo from tho Hydrabad, and will get i away when .the weather moderates. Captain Holmwood, who came up by tho Glenelg, roports that thirteen vessels were windbound under Kapiti. An attempt was made by the Glenelg to get the ketch Elizabeth off, but owing to the heavy wind it was unsuccessful.

The ship Jessie Headman, 760 ton*, arrived at Wellington on Tuesday, from London. She left London on the 10th of • August, and brings only a few passengers.' She has a general cargo.
