WHO'S DOWN NOW?
TO Til 3 EDITOR OF THE MAXAWATJ IIEHALD. g ln —On Wednesday last there appeared on one or two conspicuous places tho following intonsoly wit'y (?) notice : — "£5 Os 0d Howard to find the Foxton Bobby. Apply to Bullockt." Doubtless a good many of your readers saw the production, and, like mysolf, recognised the handwriting as that of a store bullock of the leanest description— one calculated to ruin any grazier who might in an unguarded moment tako him to grass with the idea of putting beof on his frame. Had this particular one of " Pharaoh's lean kine " made onquiries in tho proper quarter, he would have been informed that our worthy maintainer of poace had gone to Wanganui on duty. I am, &c, Jasox. Foxton, 3lst October, 1878.
