Mr Hugh L. SherwiJl, DeputyReturning Officer for Manchester, has telegraphed to the County Eeturning Ufficer, Mr T. U. Ccok, in> forming him that it is absolutely necessary that two other polling booths should be opened besides the one at Feilding, and suggesting that the schoolhouses at Stoney Creek and Halcombe should be appointed for the purpose mentioned Mr left yesterday to visit the Kiding, and arrange for the extra polling places, if found necessary.
