A certain amount of special pleading was done roceutly by the " Carnarvon correspondent" of our Puliueraton contemporary, who stated Mr Dawson's ticket was " self,'' whilst his opponent's was «• fair play io all parts of tlio Ward." The electors evidently do not share in tho correspondent's opinions, as yesterday's voting uljunddiitly testifies.
