LICENSING COURT.
Wednesday, Oct. 2. (Before R. Ward, Esq., R.M., Chairs man ; Messrs E. S. Thynno, J. T. Stewart, and J. F. Rockstrow,
J.P.s). A meeting of the Licensing Court was held at 2 p.m. The application of J. If astie for a transfer of Ms license for tho Hal* combe Hotel to Frank France, was called on.
Mr Staite appeared on behalf of Mr France, in support of the application, which was adjourned for a fortnight, when Mr France is required to appear, and produce householders' certificate in support of his applica* tion.
There was no other business, and the Court adjourned.
