The s.s" Stormbird, Captain Doile, left Wellington at 8.30 p.m. ouJjTuesday evening, and proceoded under easy steam; stopped off the stranded vessel Hydraoad at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, and as the weather was very fine ; and sea calm, 8 passengers H&oro put in a boat for the ship ; arrived K>ff the Munawatu bar at 10 a m., and at 11 a.m., reaching the wharf shoitly before noon. Jfc'ino weather and Bmooth sea were e?:perienced tluoughout. x Ve thank Mr Reid, purser, for flips and a report. The Stormbird sailed for Wellington about 1 p.m. yesterday. The Tui left Wellington at 8 o'clock on Wednesday night, and arrived off the Manawatu bar early next morning,reachhig the JFoxton wharf at 11.30. She leaves on hr.r return trip at 1 p.m. to-day. Wocre informed that it will be fully a ■week before the h.s. Jane Douglas will be able to resume her running to thia port.
