Jane ! Dou»laa is at present receiving her new | ciibin in Wellington, and we eu. pose the Tui has been detained on her southern trip by the recent heavy weuther experienced on the co ist. The 8.8. Jane Douglas is advertised in the Welling* on papeiß to leave for Foxlon at C o'clock this evening. The s.a. Tui is exp-ctcd to arrive in port today. As the schooner Kestrel w.is crossing the bar yesterday, owing to the wind falling -light, she drifted on to the north spit, and remained there until this morning's tide, wheu she floated oft' all right, and stood away on her course. Tho schooner Cora, laden with produce consigned to Messrs. Thynne, Lin ton and Co., may be expected to show up at any moment. She arrived off the heads two or three days ago, but the weather was too heavy for her to make the river. We presume Captain Russell has been sheltering quietly under Kapiti.
