LEADING MANNEQUINS

NOW VISITING AUSTRALIA Four British mannequins, one of • them a viscountess,' arrived in Sydney by air recently to give a series of parades at which 14 new fashions will be introduced to Australia. The mannequins, all in their early twenties, are: Jean Dawnay, a Christian Doir model; Laura Parnell, a tall, slim brunette; Delia Oake, blonde leading Vogue model and cover girl; Viscountess Boyle, noted for her beautiful complexion and described as the "typical Ehglish beauty."^ Accompanying them is Miss Rosemary Cooper, editor of the British Vogue Export Magazine. Miss Cooper said the purpose of the visit was to show Australians that British fashion standards, as well as French and American, were still very high.
