HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE.
The current programme at His Majesty's Theatre will be headed by "Private Affairs," with Nancy Kelly, Robert Cummings, Hugh Herbert, and Roland Young. Announced as a modern and breezy story played against the background of staid Boston and its wealthy Back Bay, "Private Affairs" finds Roland Young as the scion of a family who for twenty years has chosen to be a "black sheep" rather than submit to the dictates of his parents. Nancy Kelly as his daughter and Robert Cummings as a young attorney, provide the romantic interest. Hugh Herbert appears in the kind of hilarious role that he has made famous. A second offering is "Enemy Agent," with Richard Cromwell, Helen Vinson, and Robert Armstrong. During the swift action it is Armstrong who leads his eolleagues in a relentless war to wipe out foreign spies around airplane plants. He tries to bring an end to their acts of sabotage and prevent them from securing secret warplane designs and blue-prints of the famed airplane "bomb-sight," one of the world's most closely guarded military secrets.
