The bombing of aercdrornes in north-east Assam is described by G.H.Q., India, as follows: "Yesterday enemy aircraft attacked an aerodrome at Chittagong and some aercr

dromes in north-east Assam. Reports so far indicate that civilian and military easualties were extremely light, and the damage small. Civilian labour employed in the areas attacked displayed extremely high morale. Their devotion, to rontine duties was most marked. "There was a further raid on an aerodrome in north-east Assam today. No details are yet available, but later one enemv aircraft was shot down in Games, two of the crew bailing out by parachute. "Enemy losses so far reported in yesterday's raid are four."
