RICKENBACKER OVERDUE.

WASHINGTON, Oct. 24.
The War Department announced that Captain Eddie Rickenbacker is three days overdue on an inspection flight between Ohau and other Pacific islands. His plane was in radio contact with an island south-west of Honolulu on Wednesday afternoon, when it reported it had slightly more than one hour's supply of petrol.'No contact has been made since. All available air and sea forces have joined in a search for the missing ace and the crew.
