WELLINGTON, Oct. 26.

Due to return to an Air Force station in the South Island at 11 a.m. on Saturday, an aircraft of the Royal New Zealand Air Force was reported overdue on Saturday afteinoon, despite an extensive search. A report received from a resident in the district stated that he had heard an aircraft laboiiring oveihead, followed by an explosion. Subsequentlv the machino "was found with the two occupants dead. They were: Sergeant Graham Ballantyne Steele. Mr J. B. Steele, OampbeH's road, Walton, Waikato (f.). L/ac. Charles Arthur Rickev. Mrs F. F. Rickey, Mt. Herbert, Waipukurau (m.). An aircraft of the Royal New Zealand Air Force engaged in a coastai training flight was reported overdue on Friday evening, when it failed to return to its base. A search was im- ' mediately instituted, but so far it has been without success. The - occupants were: — Filot Officer Rodney George Dandy. Mrs R. G. Dandy, 89 Pirie street. Wellington (w,).
