News reached Blenheim this week of the death in Auckland of Mrs Elsie A. Morrison. After the sudden death of her husband Mrs Morrison left Blenheim to make her home in Auckland, but failing health necessitated her entering hospital, where she remained until her death. Mrs Morrison was before her marriage to Mr Cuthbertson, her former husband, a nurse, and at the time of the 1918 epidemic she volunteered for service at the Wellington Public Hospital. During her early days in Blenheim Mrs Morrison, who was the possessor of a sweet soprano voiee, was a member for many years of the Church of the Nativity choir. Those who knew her best mourn the loss of a true and faithful friend.
