MRS ROOSEVELT IN LONDON.
GUEST OF THEIR MAJESTIES, Mrs Rcosevelt has arrived in London. She was met at Paddington Station by the King and Queen, whose guest she will be during the first part of her visit. The U.S. Ambassador, Mr Winant, and Cabinet Ministers were also at the station. The time and place of Mrs Rocsevelt's arrival were kept secret, but the public soon discovered that something was afoot and erciwds had assembled, including some U.S. troops, by the time the official party were leaving the station. Mrs Roosevelt is to stay for a few weeks. She wants to get an idea of what the people here, especially the women, are doing
in wartime. — London
