CONCILIATION AGREEMENT.

WELLINGTON, Oct. 22.

Complete agreement was reached at the Conciliation Council in the Dominion bricklayers dispute. Hours of work were fixed at 40 per week with a minimum wage for journeymen of 2s 10M per hour and cvertime at the rate of time and a half for the first four hours and double thereafter. Eight paid statutory holidays are included. The country work provisions were brought into line with the carpenters, joiners, builders' con tractors, and general labourers' awards.
