Mr Michael Hepburn, outspoken critic cf the MacKenzie Kmg Government and the Canadian war tffort, has resignsd as the head of the Ontario Liberal Government. Trie Attorney-General, Mr Gordon Conant, was immediately sworn in as Premier. Mr Hepburn said he was retaining his portfolio as provincial treasurer for a short time, after which he was retiring from puciic life.
