HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE.
The curernt programme at His Majesty's Theatre will have its final screening to-night. To-morrow the week-end change will start with Gene Autry in "Sierra Sue" heading the bill. This is a tale of the grazing | country around Sierra City. It tells of a poisonous weed, an illtempered old rancher who interferes with Special Agent Autry's endeavours to eliminate the scourge, and a roman tic interlude with the old curmudgeon's daughter. There are thrills and of course, the inevitable Autry songs. Fay McKenzie is the girl in the case. The second feature is "The Wolf Man," with the son of Lon Chaney as the werewolf. According to the legend, whoever is bitten by a werewolf becomes one himself. The blood- curdling story of "The Wolf Man" shows this weird transformation of man to a werewolf, who finally turns even on the ceautiful girl he loves, to climax a series of mysterious killings. Claude Rains, Warren William, Ralph Bellamy, Patric Knowles, Bela Lugosi, Maria Ouspenskaya, Evelyn Ankers,' and Chaney have leading roles in the current film. The serial will also be shown. xr .
