It is officially stated from Buckingham Palace that the Queen has completely recovered from her recent attack of bronchitis (states a British Official Wireless message). Sister N. M. Weber, of Picton, has returned from the Middle East. Among Marlborough men who recently returned to New Zealand from "the Middle East is Warrant Officer II. E. G. Stokes, of Te Mahia, Picton. Guests at the Criterion Hotel last night included: Colonel J. F. Cracroft Wilson, Messrs J. Nobes, R. P. Connell, J. L. Gibson, Misses Hall-Jones, A. Whitlaw (Christchurch). Messrs W. Maddox, A. W.
