National Security Regulations limiting the hours of work for i manual workers in Australian indus- { try have been gazetted. Their ob- I ject is to increase the war output by ; counteracting industrial fatigue. The regulations prescribe a maximum | week of 48 hours for workers aged j less than 18. Up to November 30 1 there will be a maximum week of 60 ' iiours for workers aged more than I 18. After that date there will be a maximum week of 56 hours for workers aged more than 18 years.
