Wadworth, of Brancott, have returned from a visit to Christchurch. Mrs P. Channell has returned to Christchurch after a visit to her mother, Mrs John Mears, of Springlands. Mr and Mrs F. V. H. Robinson, of Lake Timara, have returned from a visit to Christchurch. Mrs G. N. Morey, Mrs Max Morey, and Miss Sybil Morey are spending a holiday at Waikawa, Picton. Mrs Charles McDonald and Miss Monica McDonald, of Wellington, who have been visiting Blenheim, are now the guests of Mrs J. P. Hannari at Picton. Mrs M. Baillie and Miss Mary Baillie are visiting Wellington. Mrs J. A. Ronald, of Roseneath, Wellington, who has been visiting Mr and Mrs E. W. Rose, Kai Iwi, is now the guest of Mrs A. E. Greig, at Picton. ENGAGEMENTS. The engagement is announced of Maureen Winifred, second daughter of Mr and Mrs W. A. Smith, "The Downs," Seddon, to Sergeant Pilot Arthur Francis Law, son of Mr and Mrs F. Law, Picton. Mr and Mrs W. Payne, North East Valley, Dunedin, announce the engagement of their only daughter, Greta, to L.A.C. Lindsay Derrick, elder son of Mr and Mrs C. P. Oarthew, Waitoa.
