LEND-LEASE IN REVERSE.

RUGBY, Oct. 14.

Lend-Lease in reverse is being widely used to supply many needs of the United States Army in Britain, said Colonel D. C. Mackeachie, Chief of the Procurement Division, to-day. The primary aim was the saving of shipping. All purchases were made through British Government agencies, through which the British Government had supplied, not only of goods, but of services, manufacturing facilities and transportation. Even telephone charges came under reciprocal aid.
