SAVING TO ASSOCIATION. The president, who with the secretary (Mr D. L. Duncan) had represented the association at the recent annual meeting of the S.I.M.U. at Christchurch, reported on the proceedings. One thing to which he referred in particular was the fact that the S.I.M.U. Mutual Insurance Association had taken over all the financial responsibility in eonneetion with tlie postages and subsidy on the N.Z. Iviotor World. The Insurance Association, he ex•plained, was doing very well, and as one avenue of good work had deeided to undertake this expense. It meant that the Marlborough Association \vould benefit — £54 had been paid out in this direction last year — and when things got back to normal again this saving would be available for expenditure on some other worthy object. Accounts amounting to £113. were passed for payment. l
