Frau Hess wants to come to Britain, according to a member of the House of Commons, Mr Thorne, who asked the Foreign Secretary what reply was being made to her re» quest for permission to join her husband. Reports from Vichy recently said that Frau Hess had asked the Red Cross for permission to go to England.
