IMMEDIATE TRIAL OF HESS
DESIRE OF SOVIET GOVERNMENT.

LONDON, Oct. 15.
A sentence in the announcement by Mr Molotov on Axis war crimes is interpreted by news agencies as advocating the immediate trial and punishment of Hess. The sentence reads: "The Soviet considers it essential to hand over with out delay to the courts of a special international tribunal and to punish with all the severity of the criminal code any leader of Fascist Germany who in the eourse of the war has fallen into the hands of States fighting against Germany."
