HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE.
At His Majesty's Theatre tonight "Red River Valley" will again be screened. It stars Roy Rogers and his band. George "Gabby" Hayes has his customary character role in "Red River Valley," with pretty Gale Storm in the feminine lead. Sally Payne, a fixture in the Rogers pictures, portrays Gabby's pert daughter who is in love with the bull fiddle player in the "Sons of the Pioneers." The "Sons of the Pioneers,". consisting of Bob Nolan, Pat Brady, Hugh and Carl Farr, Tim Spencer and Floyd Perryman, are featured in several musical novelty numbers which are highlights of the production. "Strange Alibi" is the second string on the programme. The film tells the story of a detective's sacrifice in order to break up a large gambling syndicate. Arthur Kennedy, who won much praise for his performance in "City for Conquest," and lovely Joan Perry head the cast. y
